Our Seminars
Throughout your career, you experience different
types of selection processes for various types of jobs, each with
its own evaluation techniques to find the right candidate. Some
are relatively easy, perhaps as easy as a walk-in or on-the-spot
interview, and some are very lengthy. The purpose of this seminar
is to focus on the public sector process, which differs significantly
from the private sector, and to you teach you how to get screened
into a competition, and eventually earn your position.
By the end of this seminar you will:
- Understand the federal government hiring process
- Know what jobs to look for
- Know how to SUCCESSFULLY apply for a job through www.jobs.gc.ca
- Get a professional's perspective on how to get in
- Learn networking techniques that WORK!
- Understand the difference between "casual employment" and "agency employment" and how they can work for you.
- Learn helpful tips and hints on how to write a "government friendly" resume and cover letter
